Dr. Henry John M. Henry, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. John Henry graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Chemistry from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. There he was honored as being a Dana scholar, Herman scholar and elected to Phi Beta Kappa society.

Dr. Henry received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. While at Johns Hopkins he performed research of the biology and treatment of prostate and bladder cancer. He has published on these topics in regard to this research.

At the University of Pennsylvania he served as an intern and resident in general surgery. He completed his urologic studies at the University of Pennsylvania. He performed his pediatric training at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

At the New York Hospital, Cornell University in New York he performed studies on microsurgical technique and has published on this research,

Dr. Henry remains active in urological research and has presented a number of papers at professional meetings. He is certified by the American Board of Urology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Urological Association, Philadelphia Urologic Society, American Association for Clinical Urologists, Reading Physicians Organization, and Berks County Medical Society. He joined the practice in 1994.

Dr. Harris Constantine F. Harris, M.D. F.A.C.S.

Dr. Harris received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his surgical and urology residencies at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Harris joined Center for Urologic Care in August 2005 after completing his residency.

Dr. Harris is a member of the American Urological Association, American Association of Clinical Urologists, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Endourological Society, Urological Association of Pennsylvania and American Medical Association.

Dr. Harris is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. White Shawn E. White, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. White completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He received his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his general surgery and urology residency training at The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Dr. White enjoys practicing General Urology and welcomes patients with a wide variety of urologic conditions. He is fully trained in minimally invasive surgical techniques including Da Vinci robotic and laparoscopic surgery, endoscopic treatment of stones and other disorders of the upper urinary tract, and laser therapy for prostatic enlargement.

Dr. White was born and raised in nearby Lancaster County and joined the Center for Urologic Care in July 2011.

Dr. White is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Urological Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Berks County Medical Society and various other professional organizations.

Dr. Monath James R. Monath, M.D., FACS

Dr. James “Jim” Monath graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Premedical Studies. He then completed medical school at Sidney Kimmel Medical College (then known as Jefferson Medical College) in Philadelphia, where he was elected to the prestigious AOA Honor Medical Society in his first year of eligibility.

Dr. Monath subsequently completed general surgery and residency training at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, after which time he served as the Chief of Urology at Maxwell Air Force Base Hospital for 3 years to fulfill his commitment for being awarded an F. Edward Hébert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship.

Dr. Monath has many deep roots and connections to Pennsylvania. His wife was born and raised in Havertown, PA, while he grew up in Pittsburgh. He still remains a die-hard Steelers/Pirates/Penguins fan despite his previous four year residence in Center City Philadelphia!

He joined the practice in the summer of 2016 to be closer to family and friends after closing his private practice of 19 years in Zanesville, OH. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urologic Association, the American Association for Clinical Urologists, the Pennsylvania and Berks County Medical Societies, and the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. FleischerAlan N. Fleischer, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Emeritus, Retired July 1, 2019

Dr. Alan Fleischer received his Bachelor of Science from Bethany College in West Virginia in 1972. He received his medical degree from the Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines in 1977.

He served a clinical clerkship at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He completed his general surgery residency at the prestigious Beth Israel Medical Center from 1978-1980. Dr. Fleischer completed his urology residency at University of Vermont in 1983.

He has a special interest in treating men with impotency or erectile dysfunction (ED).

Dr. Fleischer was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1990 and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Urological Association, Philadelphia Urologic Society, American Association for Clinical Urologists, Reading Physicians Organization, and Berks County Medical Society. He joined the practice in 1997.

Dr. Leoni Joseph V. Leoni, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Emeritus, Retired December 31, 2014

Dr. Joseph Leoni graduated Cum Laude from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania where he was honored with membership in the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa society. He received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his internship and residency also at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Leoni served for two years as a surgeon in the United States Public Health Service in Boston, MA, and has published articles in various medical journals. He was certified by the American Board of Urology in 1978, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the American Urological Association, Philadelphia Urologic Society, American Association for Clinical Urologists, Reading Physicians Organization, and Berks County Medical Society. He has been with the group since 1976.

Dr. Miller Jay B. Miller, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Emeritus, Retired July 1, 2014

Dr. Jay Miller is a native of York, Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Cornell University. Dr. Miller served his general surgery internship and residency in the Harvard Medical College Department of Surgery at The Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He received his urology training at The University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, Virginia.

Dr. Miller has practiced general Urology since 1980. He has had a special interest in male infertility. Dr. Miller worked with Dr. Stuart Howards while at the University of Virginia developing microscopic surgical techniques for vasectomy reversal and treating male infertility.

Dr. Miller is certified by the American Board of Urology in Adult and Pediatric Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Urologic Association, The American Association of Clinical Urologists, The Pennsylvania Urological Association, The Philadelphia Urologic Society and the Berks County Medical Society. Dr. Miller is a Past President of the Mid-Atlantic Section of the American Urologic Association.

Dr. Sihelnik Stephen A. Sihelnik, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Emeritus, Retired July 1, 2016

Dr. Stephen Sihelnik is a native of Memphis, TN. He received his undergraduate degree from The United States Military Academy, West Point, NY. He received his Medical Degree from The University of Tennessee. After completing his internship and residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C., he completed a fellowship in reconstructive urology and urodynamics at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC. Dr. Sihelnik was Chief, Reconstructive Urology and Director of the Urodynamics Laboratory at Walter Reed until his retirement from the military in 1994.

Dr. Sihelnik is certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of The Society of Genito-Urinary Reconstructive Surgeons and numerous other professional organizations.
