He then completed medical school at Sidney Kimmel Medical College (then known as Jefferson Medical College) in Philadelphia, where he was elected to the prestigious AOA Honor Medical Society in his first year of eligibility.
Dr. Monath subsequently completed general surgery and residency training at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, after which time he served as the Chief of Urology at Maxwell Air Force Base Hospital for 3 years to fulfill his commitment for being awarded an F.
