Kristen Kline, RN, BSN

Chief Nursing Officer

Kristen Kline, RN, BSN has been with The Center for Urologic Care for 18 years starting as a peri-operative nurse in Berks Urologic Surgery Center where she provided direct care to patients in the pre-op area, operating room, and recovery room.

In 2012, Kristen was promoted to Director of Nursing where her responsibility included accountability of staff members to deliver safe, high-quality patient care along with state, federal and regulatory compliance and state, federal, and accreditation inspections.

In 2020, Kristen transitioned to Chief Nursing Officer where she provides clinical oversight to the clinical staff of both CUC and BUSC while also continuing to maintain state, federal, and regulatory compliance and state, federal and accreditation inspections.

Kristen received her Nursing Diploma at The Reading Hospital School of Nursing and worked the first eight years of her nursing career as a staff nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center caring for critically ill patients such as post open-heart surgery patients, trauma patients, and post-cardiac arrest patients. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing with honors from Chamberlain College of Nursing.

Kristen maintains certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Ambulatory Surgery Association and Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and children – two adult sons and two teenage daughters.
